She has a background in sales with Hewlett Packard, Sybase, and Aicorp/CA and was instrumental in the launch of two start-up companies and more than 25 software products for industry leaders including CREDANT Technologies, Sterling Commerce, Altai/Platinum Technology, and UCCEL Corporation/CA. Widely respected by the analyst and venture communities for her security domain expertise, Van Zandt is a contributing author of the ICSA Guide to Cryptography and Commercial Computer Security Systems.
